PRESENTATION:
Oil and Gas Prices and the Current Effects on the Economy
Oil has been the foundation of the expansion and modernization of Americas economy for more than a century. While the United States in recent history largely looked to foreign nations to satisfy its demand for oil, new cutting-edge technologies now enable America to capitalize on abundant domestic oil and gas resources to increasingly meet its own current and future energy needs. Come to this meeting and get Kens insight on where we were, where we are today and what he thinks it means for the future.
PRESENTER: Ken Marzocco
Ken Marzocco is the Strategic Acquisitions Manager for Matrix Service Inc. Reporting to the President, he assists the company in the pursuit and execution of major projects and other growth initiatives. He also serves as a director on Board for VMAC Global Technologies. Prior to joining Matrix, Ken worked for CH2MHill as President, Energy Business Americas. In that role, he was responsible for a team of more than 1000 employees in Canada, USA, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil. The group provided engineering, construction and maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining and Renewable Energy industries. He also served on the Strategic Planning Committee reporting to the CH2MHill Board of Directors.

COST:
The member price for this event is $32.00 if you register before 12:00 Noon on the Monday immediately preceding the meeting; late registration is $37.00. Non-members will be charged $39.00 before 12:00 Noon on the Monday immediately preceding the meeting, and $45.00 thereafter.

A very limited of first come first served meals will be available at the door.
MENU:
You may order Petite New York Strip, Lemongrass Marinated Chicken Breast or Vegetarian (requires one week advance notice) dinner. If you have specific dietary restrictions please contact us at aaceseattle@gmail.com so that we can accommodate you. The AACE Seattle Section will be rotating menu selections this program year; we are interested in obtaining your feedback!

The AACE Seattle Section must pay for all meals that are ordered. If you RSVP that you will attend, you are responsible for the bill of your meal. In addition, if you attend without an RSVP there is a possibility that your meal options will be limited from those listed above. AACE Seattle Section meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from September through May (excluding December). Each meeting with a technical presentation qualifies for .25 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) towards your CCP/CEP/CFCC/DRMP/EVP/PSP recertification requirements.
