World Mandolin Concert 2016

The 6th Annual World Mandolin Concert - Portland, Oregon.
The instructors of the 2016 River of the West Mandolin Camp are playing only one concert for the public in Downtown Portland. This is a once in a lifetime grouping of mandolin players so DO NOT miss it. Presale tickets are limited to 200. New comers to the Old Church will find it is a beautiful venue with great acoustics. Don Stiernberg will headline the concert with his Portland Jazz Trio (Bill Athens & Paul Hirschmann). Bluegrass mandolin luminary, Emory Lester will show the good folks of the pacific northwest the roots of pure and clean bluegrass mandolin. Solo mandolin virtuoso, Evan Marshall will grace us with his amazing talents as a solo mandolinist and unforgettable stage banter. Jordan Ramsey, the nation's aficionado on cross-picking style, will fill the hall with harp-like bluegrass mandolin. Finally, Portland's Brian Oberlin will round out the concert with the release of his milestone 20th Album, Troubadour, which features all original music with solo mandolin and vocals.
