"Well-behaved" historical women were those who did not threaten the status quo, lived their lives without upsetting the social mores of their times, did as they were told, and stayed in their places. As you've guessed by now, this show is NOT about these women.
This show is about a bunch of strong, passionate, trailblazing women who inspired some strong, passionate, and trailblazing burlesque artists to pay tribute to them and give them the recognition they deserve! They may not have been saints, and some of them are still surrounded by controversy, but each had admirable qualities and a rebellious spirit that will be honoured to dynamic effect onstage.
