Oliver Lake at Antiquite!
Oliver Lake the Saxophone Phenom will play a solo show in Sacramento on Thursday, July 5 at the area's finest concert venue, Antiquite Maison Privee. Oliver is one of the most influential and important voices in jazz from the past 40 years, from founding the Black Artists Group in the late 1960s to being heavily involved in the NY Loft Scene of the 1970s to co-founding the World Saxophone Quartet in 1977. He has recorded nearly 30 records as a leader, and many more as a collaborator and sideman.
Lake graces Sacramento with his saxophone on Thursday, July 5 at 7pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the show.
Antiquite is located at 2114 P St, between 21st and 22nd St.
