My day job is as electronic pop artist, WRENNE
http://wrenne.ninja/
It's been an unusual journey: I've mostly said 'Yes' to everything, and there's a lot that comes with that decision.
We launch my video/single "Love & Affection" at the beginning of March; and the debut album "ISaidYesToEverything" in early June, along with a 2nd single, "Come Alive" which features the great Idris Elba.
My life is artist-mother-fitness-ninja (natch) in equal measure. We are celebrating all of the above by staging a series of performances throughout the year under the banner WRENNE.RUN.RELEASE which will tie in with 5k, 10k and half-marathon races around the UK and hopefully beyond, as well as with the music releases.
This Forge gig is the debut of the new show.
We are announcing the first 20 runs and concerts shortly at http://wrenne.ninja/wrenneruns/
Fun facts: the songs are predominantly upbeat but realistic; I have very little hair; I'm possibly one of only a few Midlands-based women from Utah; and my daughter is also a ninja, in case you were wondering.
