The Cactus Blossoms

Everwood Farmstead Foundation's 5th anniversary season of the Artist Series continues with The Cactus Blossoms on Saturday, June 4th.

Brothers Jack Torrey and Page Burkum grew up in northeast Minneapolis and have been blending their voices as The Cactus Blossoms since 2010. In January 2016, they released their latest album, You're Dreaming (produced by JD McPherson), via Red House Records.

Inspired by fellow Minnesotan, Bob Dylan, Jack and Page began making something new out of classic forms and minimal instrumentation. By infusing elements of early rock n roll and classic country, The Cactus Blossoms have created a sound that is both timeless and contemporary, accompanied by thoughtful lyrics and soaring harmonies. Their unforgettable songs have made them favorites in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul music scene.

Everwood's Pay-What-You-Can ticket price is simple-choose your ticket price from the list above. One-half of your ticket price will be provided to the artists and the other half will be distributed through Everwood's Aspiring Artists Fund. The Fund allows arts-focused teachers in Barron, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix counties to let us know directly about exciting projects that need support so their students can flourish. We'll reveal the recipient(s) at each performance. Since 2010, Everwood has donated almost $10,000 to local school programs.
