Jonathan Markow has been playing piano for close to sixty years. Born in the Bronx, he formed his first jazz trio at age 11 and has continued his dedication to jazz performance ever since. In NYC he studied with the pianist, Kenny Werner. Jonathan has played with some of NYCs finest club and studio musicians while also working as a non-profit leader. Having moved to Durham in summer, 2015, he is delighted to be performing with the many deeply talented jazz artists in the Triangle area.
