Las Cosas Insignificantes
Drama, Drama, Drama! "Dysfunctional Family" doesn't even begin to describe them. Ever heard the expression "Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk?" Well, this family does. ALL THE TIME! In the house of the Tres Leches Family, it's the little things that mean the most...and create the most turmoil! At the center of this melodramatic tribe is Kristina Tres Leches, the matriarch, who struggles to keep her family together amidst all the drama. She longs to be accepted by her two daughters, and she can't seem to understand that she is not their sister as well. Thrown into this mix are many zany characters, including the son. El Valiente Tres Leches, who has a co-dependency with his protein powder. There is Tio Juan De La Pulga, who is always looking for a bargain. And who could forget El Chiquito de Las Montanas, the adopted son who was raised in the wild. And yes, yes, yes, there's Tostito Grande, musician by day...wrestler by night. In this tribute to the novelas his grandmothers made him watch, Alexander Richard Garza plays many characters to tell the tale of a family full love, lies, jealousy, and most of all....LA PASION! (The show is in English, with some tasty flavorings of Spanish!)
