Once Upon A Mattress presented by Hingham Civic Music Theatre
Hingham Civic Music Theatre presents the musical comedy "Once Upon A Mattress". This story of The Princess and the Pea will have you rooting for Princess Winnifred (aka Fred) as she attempts to pass the test concocted by Queen Aggravain that will allow Fred to marry Prince Dauntless. Everyone in the kingdom (well, almost everyone) wants Fred to succeed because "Throughout the land no one may wed til Dauntless to the altar's led."
Music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer and book by Jay Thompson, Marshall Barer and Dean Fuller.
