Developed in Northwest Film Forums Filmmaker Institutes program, Men Go to Battle earned Zachary Treitz the Best New Director award at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival. Tretizs feature debut is set in the fall of 1861. The North and The South are at war, but back in Kentucky, Henry and Francis Mellon are more concerned with bracing for another harsh winter on their crumbling farm. Conflict, however, is much closer than it seems, and soon the war will set the two brothers on separate paths, changing both their lives forever.
