RENO, NV. The Shape of Things is a 2001 comedy by American author and film director Neil LaBute. Directed by Stacy Johnson, the central themes in The Shape of Things focus on the nature of stoicism, art, psychopathy, intimacy, explorations of love, and people's willingness to do things for love. It is set in a small university town in the American Midwest and centers on the lives of four young students who become emotionally and romantically involved with each other. The Shape Of Things stars Jamie Woodham, Ian Sorenson, Sophie Moeller and Ryan Kelly.
THE STORY: When Adam Sorenson, an English Literature major at Mercy, a fictitious midwestern college, meets Evelyn Ann Thompson, an attractive graduate art student, at the local museum where he works, his life takes an unexpected turn.
The Shape Of Things opens with a post-show opening night champagne reception and appetizers from the Wild River Grille. The show runs weekly with shows Wednesdays through Sundays. Evening shows begin at 8:00 pm and the two Sunday matinees for The Shape Of Things on March 13 and 20 begin at 2:00 PM. The second matinee is followed by a talkback with the company and the audience. The doors open a half an hour before curtain time. (Artist night is Wednesday March 23rd at 8 PM ALL TICKETS are $10.) Suggested for ages 8 and up.

Individual tickets are $20 for general $18 for students, seniors and military and all tickets are $25 at the door. ABOUT BRÜKA THEATRE In its 23rd season in downtown Reno, Brüka has been named Best Theatre Company by The News and Review eighteen years running.
