March 8, 2016 is International Women's Day recognized by the United Nations around the world.
The Alliance Francaise of San Francisco will host the 2016 International Women's Day Award Luncheon in San Francisco to honor 6 women who have contributed to changing the lives of women everywhere. One man will be honored for his role in affecting change for women and families throughout California. This is the 4th celebration in San Francisco since 2010. The 2016 honorees represent some of the most passionate leaders of civil rights, women's rights and family rights.
