Boombox Kids (2011 INNY nominees for Best Musical Improv Group) blends rock, folk, musical theatre, and freestyle rap creating scenes and musicals on the fly based on audience suggestion. Known for their "GLEE-ful" sound, Boombox Kids brings their musical theatre background to the improv world -- creating hilarious improv with kick-ass vocals!
THE JAM ACADEMY is the hottest thing since your grandmother's matzoh ball soup. These rag tag performers have traveled from around the globe to join forces into a single living, breathing, fire-eating musical menagerie. TJA's brand of musical improv is filled with passion, surprise, suspense, suspenders, suspicion, and sustenance for your soul. While they are a new group, they have already received high praise from such luminaries as one of the brothers from 2 Brothers Pizza, a cat outside Katz's deli and some guy who looked like a city councilman. So come and get ready to Jam with the Academy!
