Concert for Syrian-Armenian Refugees
On the occasion of the Armenian Cultural Associations 48th anniversary, a fundraising concert has been organized for 25 refugee Syrian-Armenian families, who have recently arrived in Vancouver from their war-torn country. All proceeds from this event will be donated to a local fund which has sponsored and supported them.
Musical selections from Babajanian, Khachaturian and Gomidas will be performed by pianists Takuhi Sedefci and Lori Kulahian, singer Alice Antranikian and violonists Elvira Voskanian and sisters Palig and Karni Kochkarian.
The concert will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Performance Works on Granville Island, 1218 Cartwright Street, Vancouver, BC.
Doors will open at 7:30 and the concert will begin at 8 pm sharp.
Tickets are $30. General seating.
