What Do Women Want? - The Marriage of Sir Gawain
"What Do Women Want? - The Marriage of Sir Gawain" features Chaucer's Wife of Bath telling the tale of King Arthur and Sir Gawain's search for the answer to the question: What do women most desire?  King Arthur is saved from the clutches of a wicked knight and Sir Gawain finds out the surprising answer.  An enjoyable romp in the Spamalot vein for young and older audience members alike.

Developed by the same team that brought "A Hot Day in Ephesus" to the Live Oak Stage in 2012, "What Do Women Want" features book and lyrics by Vicki Siegel with music by Evan Alparone.

The production is directed by Bruce Coughran, with Choreography by Steve Beecroft, Assistant Direction/Stage Management by Ron Houk, Costumes by Paula Dodd Aiello, Graphics and Photography by Vicki Victoria, Music Coordination by Tania Johnson, Set Design by Michael Cohen, Light design by Michael Sweeney, Set construction by Robert Gudmundsson and production coordination by Jerome Solberg.

Featuring: Alexis Lane Jensen as the Wife of Bath, Steve Beecroft as Sir Gawain, Alan Coyne as King Arthur, Emily Stone as the Crone, Bruce Kaplan as Sir Pellinore, Terry Haley as Merlin, Bill Liebman as Sir Bevedere, and Billy Rafael as a wandering musician.

With: Virginia Corrigan, Peggy DeCoursey, Kimberly Flynn, Brianna Gill, Ron Houk, Jenna Peters-Ring, Will Reicher, Christine Sheppard, Nils Skudra, Annette Sousa, Veronica Toro, and Marsha Van Broek.

Playing Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. from March 25th - April 16th (critics opening March 26th).  Sunday Matinees April 3rd and 10th at 2p.m.
