ICONS: The Martin Show
Jimmy Martin is a college student worried about his future, his grades, and most of all worried about his parents coming into town. When his mother, Norma, and father, Richard, arrive, everything changes. The pressures for Norma to be a good wife and mother (not to mention a few magic brownies) give Norma the bright idea to have her entire family pretend theyre in the fifties. James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, car crashes, and sudden fameFifties values dont go exactly as the Martins expect.
Back by popular demand, REBATEnsemble presents our original production of ICONS: The Martin Show. Written by Beverly Poole and Tom Dang, this is a true ensemble show, developed with input from cast and crew. Dysfunctional family comedy with a bit of anachronism
