Kortney's (Stand-Up Style) Comedy Showcase at Naked City Brewery Sunday - Sun. May 1st
Stand-up Comedy is back @ Naked City Brewery & Taphouse in Seattle the first Sunday of May. That's Sunday May 1st at 7pm.
As always the show is hosted and produced by Kortney Shane Williams. Who is an accomplished comedian that has opened for Dave Chappelle, appeared on Fox's Laughs TV, and has done much more.
They say April showers bring May flowers (I don't know who "they" are. I don't have any friends that talked like that, because if I did we wouldn't be friends. So "they" is probably someone in the Umbrella business that wants a good month in April). All I know is May brings Seattle's best Comedy Show!

He has been apart of Funny or Die's Oddball Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot Arts Festival, and the Vancouver Comedy Festival. He has also been a Finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition and has appeared on Comedy Central. Duane is a great comic and it's a delighted to have him on the show. Also appearing on the show is Jeremy Horn and Christan Leonard.
Jeremey was born and bred in Seattle. He is a comedian that also produces some of the best shows in the city.
Christan is an up-and-coming comedian that quickly rising in the comedy scene, and a was a Finalist in the She Devil Comedy Festival.
It's exciting to have both of them on the show. Neither has appeared on the show before, so this will be a real treat.
(Stand-Up Style) is a monthly comedy showcase that takes place the first Sunday of every month at Naked City Brewery & Taphouse in Greenwood, Seattle.
The show features international touring Stand-Up comedians, and is hosted Kortney Shane Williams, who has opened for David Alan Grier, Dave Chappelle, and regularly opens for Hannibal Buress. He's appeared on Comedy Time, Fox's Laugh TV, and The 206 on NBC.
(Stand-Up Style) is a professional showcase that's guaranteed to be a great night of comedy, and not one that turns your one night out, into a 3 hour marathon of unfunny; which ends up being more depressing than entertaining. Leaving you thinking, "I should have stayed home and watched Seinfeld reruns."
This month's show will be held Sunday May 1st at 7 PM. The show starts at 7 PM. Which is a reasonable hour unless you're a hermit that likes to get 12 hours of sleep. It's a convenient start time because it allows you to get home and make sure your kids haven't set your house on fire. It also helps people make it to work on time the next day. So you can enjoy a night out, keep your day job, and not have to resort to a life of crime.
"We want you to stay out them streets!"
So come to the show!

Question: |
Is the April show sold out??
|
Answer: |
Thanks for inquiring. I(Kortney) actually will be out of town during April, so I canceled the show. I still wanted to do the show, but wasn't sure it would be run well with me out of town. So I decided to cancel it. Apologies, there will be a show in May and the rest of the year. |
