Roedde House Jazz Concert Series presents: Bill Coon & Paul Rushka
What happens when two renowned musicians re-unite for an intimate concert, mixing jazz standards, and compositions of Canadian jazz greats? The result is a swinging and engaging set of music that shows off the duos talent for captivating solos and telepathic interplay. Guitarist Bill Coon and bassist Paul Rushka have recorded, toured and performed in a plethora of musical situations over the years. Together, theyve made music with Brad Turner, Laura Crema, Sharon Minemoto, Karin Plato, Cory Weeds, Jesse Cahill and many other great Canadian jazz artists, but here they have the opportunity to present an evening of music they love, in an unadorned duo setting of guitar and acoustic bass. It promises to be an exciting and inspiring night of great jazz.
ABOUT THE JAZZ CONCERT SERIES AT ROEDDE HOUSE:
This concert is part of a monthly concert series, taking place on the 2nd Thursday of each month, in the evening. Come by at 6:30pm to explore the main floor of this unique heritage house. Tea & cookies served at intermission.

Options include the parking lot at the Empire Landmark Hotel (Robson & Broughton) or street parking on Robson and in the West End.
Parking spots are scarce in the neighbourhood, so give yourself some extra time or use public transportation. (Closest Skytrain station: Burrard. We are on the #5 Robson bus route)
