Patrick Garners Historys Alive: Benjamin Franklin at the Whiteside Theatre on: Thursday, March 31th 2016 at 10 AM and 1PM
Patrick Garner is a twenty-plus-year Broadway, television and movie veteran. His recent work includes the Broadway revival of GYPSY with Bernadette Peters. He has worked opposite such stars as Whoopi Goldberg, Kelly Ripa, Dave Chappelle, Kevin Kline and Nathan Lane. His work in childrens books led him to found his own company, HISTORYS ALIVE!, to help students not merely learn history but learn from history.
Patrick Garners Historys Alive programs mix history and humor, science and motivation! They are designed to instruct students in the value of history, inspire them to study history, and entertain them as they learn from history.
In Benjamin Franklin: Americas First Citizen, America's favorite founding father demonstrates how a life of self-discipline, public service and a genuine love of life led to international fame and the gratitude of a nation.
Curriculum Connections: American History, Communication and Language Arts, Literature, Relationships & Family.
This 60-minute, intermission-less show featuring a live actor, is appropriate for all ages.
