Jeff Simmermon
Jeff Simmermon, a standup and Moth GrandSlam Champion storyteller, has also appeared on This American Life, The Moth's podcast, and has written for the Paris Review's blog. Hes the producer/performer behind And I Am Not Lying, a variety show that combines stand-up, storytelling, burlesque, sideshow and music at UCB East on the second Friday of the month. Sandi Marx
Sandi Marx is a fearless storyteller no private life event is off limits -- which makes her audiences love her and makes her three grown children quake in their boots. A six-time Moth Story SLAM winner, Sandi used to run a talent agency and now runs all over NYC performing everywhere: at the 92nd street Y, The Liars Show and many other venues. Tim Manley
Tim Manley is a two-time Moth StorySLAM winner who performed his one-person show, Feelings, to sold-out crowds at the New York International Fringe Festival. He is also the writer/illustrator of Alice in Tumblr-land: And Other Fairy Tales for a New Generation, out now from Penguin and optioned for TV by 20th Century Fox. Cynthia Kaplan
Cynthia Kaplan is a seriously funny and talented singer. Time Out New York says: "If you're lucky, Kaplan will sing and play guitar, and then you'll laugh until you can't breathe."
Her songs have won international contests and her band, The Cynthia Kaplan Ordeal, has played in rock clubs around the country. Her latest music video, We Were the Donner Party, is currently appearing in comedy shorts festivals. As if that weren't enough, she is also the author of two acclaimed collections of comic essays, Why I'm Like This: True Stories and Leave the Building Quickly.
