ISSUE Project Room is pleased to present an evening with cellist Okkyung Lee and trumpeter Amir ElSaffar. These distinguished instrumentalists have developed formidable reputations for their exploratory performance techniques and genre-blurring approach to musical styles. In an acoustic performance at ISSUEs 22 Boerum Place theater, Lee and ElSaffar each perform solo sets, and in their first collaborative duo.
