One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
The Whiteside Theatre presents One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Filmed on location in Oregon in 1975, Milos Forman's film won all five major Oscars (best picture, best director, best actor, best actress, and best screenplay)-the first picture to win all five since "It Happened One Night" in 1934.
Jack Nicholson plays another anti-authoritarian character (see "Five Easy Pieces" and others) at the peak of his '70s fame. Louise Fletcher is brilliant and indelible as Nurse Ratched.
Harrowing, tragic, and brilliantly funny, once seen, it's not soon forgotten. Rated R.
