HARPER'S LEGACY: A ROOTS REGGAE PERFORMANCE ALTAR
Prominent scholar and playwright, Sybil Roberts shares her newest performance piece about resistance, Rastafari, and hair. This performance ritual that includes the use of reggae from its earliest also uses delta blues from the heart of the American south, movement, and installation (a working altar) to create an alternative African women's history.
