How to Write Like I Do with Davy and Peter Rothbart
FOUND Magazine is a collection of notes, letters, pictures, and other misplaced items found and sent in by readers worldwide. This year FOUND curators Davy and Peter Rothbart celebrate their 10th anniversary of publication with a 75-city North American tour, and they'll be stopping by 826 Seattle to teach a writing workshop and to share a few of their favorite submissions to the magazine from the past decade, along with new finds and songs based on found items.
Davy (a frequent contributor to This American Life, GQ, and Grantland, and author of the story collection The Lone Surfer of Montana, Kansas) also tours with the release of his new book of personal essays "My Heart is an Idiot", published by Farrar, Straus, and Giroux. Peter (frontman for folk/rock group The Poem Adept) tours with the release of his new album "You Are What You Dream," on 21 Balloons Productions.
