5th Annual Andersonville Honors Gala
Dress up! Celebrate! Mingle! Show your Support! Laugh!
For its 5th annual Andersonville Honors Gala, the Andersonville Development Corporation (soon to be renamed the Andersonville Sustainable Community Alliance) is excited to partner with The Neo-Futurists, the 2014 winner of Arts Organization of the Year and recent NEA grantee.
The Neo-Futurists will present a one-of-a-kind, Andersonville-themed "Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind," their groundbreaking and ever-evolving attempt to perform 30 Plays in 60 Minutes that is the longest-running show in Chicago theater history (27 years!). Held at the theater's longtime home at 5153 N. Ashland, the evening will feature great food and drink from Andersonville businesses, a fantastic silent auction, and, of course, the presentation of the 2016 Andersonville Honors, recognizing outstanding businesses and individuals in Andersonville. The awards that will be presented are:
Welcome Addition Award Good Neighbor Award Arts Organization of the Year Service Organization of the Year Best Place to Eat Best Place to Shop Best Place to Drink Hidden Gem Award Eco-Andersonville Award Mathiasson Community Service Award
In addition, there will be a special 'audience favorite' vote!
The evening will also feature fantastic food, beer, wine, coffee, and spirits.
Tickets are $50 per person. You may also purchase tokens at the event for the Andersonville Honors Gala photo booth to create a keepsake for you to take home commemorating the evening.
Ticket quantities are limited for this event; guests are encouraged to purchase them early.
