David Heti is comedy's dark philosopher. His 2015 debut, It was ok (Stand Up! Records), was hailed as "deftly subversive" by The Comedy Network and "piquant and twistedly droll... self-deprecation to another level" by the Montreal Gazette. He has appeared in JFL42 and The Dark Comedy Fest and his comedy can be heard on SiriusXM and seen on Roku. He has toured from Maine to Florida to California and has opened for comics such as Todd Barry and Brian Posehn. Doug Stanhope has called him a "brilliant comic... wicked funny." He teaches comedy writing at McGill University, is a contributing writer to VICE and has degrees in Philosophy and Law.
