Boycott The Oscars : "She's Gotta Have it"
On February 28th, as thousands huddle around their televisions to watch the 88th Academy Awards, WE WILL NOT. Were disappointed (**hear : not surprised**) by the white-washing of the nominations. So, were gonna party it up our own way by kicking off a series of films the Academy grossly snubbed. This series will showcase films written by, produced by, and acted by important individuals in history who have paved the cinematic way doing their own thingtheir own damn way.
So yeah, #BOYCOTTTHEOSCARS , with us.

Plot: This is a powerful black feminist story of Nola Darling (a flawless performance by Tracy Camilla Johns) and her simultaneous sexual relationships with three different men (Spike Lee, John Canada Terrell, Tommy Redmond Hicks) as told by her and by her partners and other friends.
