Toward the sea
"Toward the sea, a show inspired by Moby Dick" is an immersive performance combining text, music, ambient sounds and visual art. "...where water and meditation are wedded together..." Flutist Catherine Gregory and harpist Melanie Genin, embark on an immersive journey exploring Herman Melville's epic tale through music and literary excerpts. Together the music and text convey Melville's philosophical impact and metaphysical questions.
The continuous performance from beginning to end is designed with both Moby Dick connoisseurs and the initiated in mind.
