Event Description: Okay, now that you've found 'the scene' have you wondered:
"Just what is this protocol thing?" "Ohhh, how do I get one?" "I don't do D/s, do I need a protocol?"
This workshop hopes to answer these and other questions. It's geared toward those new or newish to BDSM but seasoned hands may benefit as well.
Workshop topics will include: what protocol is (and isn't), methods and ideas for creating a personal protocol, pitfalls, and enforcement. We'll explore different approaches to discover what works for you.
This workshop is for people of all orientations and all varieties of kink dynamics. The information presented can be used in casual play or as a kick off to exploring a more formalized dynamic.
Presenter Info: Loren has been around for mumble-mumble years and is an active member of the south bay community with ties to the east bay and San Francisco. She's demonstrated and taught a number of skills for various bay area kink/Leather organizations and conferences.
Even though Loren has long been a fan of 'proper conduct', she didn't embrace protocol for herself until she found herself being "the accidental Dominant". She hopes others can learn from her trials and tribulations.
