TBS Just For Laughs is proud to present The Pet Project Series, a series a 4 very special performance by some of Chicago's most talented performers and groups. The Thursday Night Pass will get you into all of The Thursday Night Pet Project Series Shows. NICE 7:30
Nice A four person ensemble of iO, Annoyance and Second City performers that celebrates and perverts the idea of being nice through improvisation, exploring real relationships as well as the absurd. Brooke Breit, Nancy Friedrich, Barry Hite and Hans Holsen are NICE.
Matt and Megan - The Hovde's 8:30
Siblings Matt and Megan Hovde first performed together at their neighborhood block party as kids. Despite their loving parents and shared passion for good television, one has become a vegetarian, the other an atheist. Can they learn to set aside their differences and improvise together as brother and sister? Their family name depends on it. Megan was in the Second City National Touring Company, and is an alum of the Second City Detroit. Her improv families include: KOKO, American Dream, Shared Property, iO and the Annoyance. Matt has performed with The Best of the Second City, Chicago Live!, and the Galileo Players. He has also directed several shows for the Second City, including the 100th Mainstage Revue, Sky's the Limit (Weather Permitting), and Studs Terkel's Not Working.
BRIAN BABYLON 9:30
Brian Babylon is a Chicago-born comic and radio host. The self-proclaimed Prince of Bronzeville is a fixture in Chicago's rich comedy community. He has been making a name for himself outside of Chicago as well, placing in the finals of the New York Comedy Contest in 2009. He has performed in LA at the historic Comedy Store and Laugh Factory, and in the UK at Jongleurs comedy club in London and more recently Brian was selected to be a part of Comedy Central's South Beach Comedy Festival. Currently, Brian hosts and produces The Morning AMP radio show on Vocalo 89.5 and 88.7FM, a sister station of Chicago Public Radio. He is also one of the newest additions to the popular NPR weekly news quiz show "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me," contributes to BBC Radio and hosts The Moth Story Slam in Chicago.
SEEDER & LEE 10:30
Originally from Chicago, Seeder & Lee now can be found peddling their off beat comedy in Los Angeles. Their three sketch shows, SANDY TAKES A BREAK; WE WORK FOR YOUR DAD; and Seeder & Lee WAKE UP SCREAMING have been performed at iO Chicago, New York Fringe Festival, UCB Theatre (NY & LA), Seattle Sketchfest, LA Comedy Festival, Sketchfest NYC, San Francisco Sketchfest, and The Comedy Central Stage. Critics call them "otherworldly" "hilarious" and "delightful. Written and Performed by Ben Seeder & Chris Lee
