Red House Live from Landmark Center - Pat Donohue & Butch Thompson
Staples of the Twin Cities jazz, blues and folk scenes, world-renowned pianist/clarinetist Butch Thompson and Grammy-winning guitarist Pat Donohue have collaborated for the last several decades, performing regularly on the national radio show A Prairie Home Companion. Now the dynamic duo releases their first album together on Red House Records called Vicksburg Blues. The album that fans have been waiting for, it is full of fun original and classic acoustic blues, including songs written by Butch's mentor--blues legend Little Brother Montgomery. Sure to be a night to remember, their Red House Live concert will be a unique opportunity to hear these grade-A performers in an intimate theater setting.
Landmark Center and Red House Records' popular concert series "Red House Live"returns for a second year at the F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium at St. Paul's historic Landmark Center. Hosted by various local radio personalities, these concerts will begin at 8 pm and will be preceded by a cocktail hour at 7 pm, giving audiences an opportunity to enjoy free food Ginkgo and mingle with both DJ and musicians. Tickets are $15 in advance and includes admission to the cocktail hour.
All tickets are general admission. If the concert sell out, seat assignments will be given at will-call when you check in. If you have any special seating needs or requests, please call 651-292-3063 and we will do our best to accommodate them.
