Red House Live from Landmark Center - Meg Hutchinson Concert
Landmark Center's popular concert series "Red House Live" returns for a third year at the F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium at St. Paul's historic Landmark Center. Hosted by various local radio personalities, these concerts will begin at 8 pm and will be preceded by a cocktail hour at 7 pm, giving audiences an opportunity to enjoy free food Ginkgo and mingle with both DJ and musicians. Tickets are $15 in advance and includes admission to the cocktail hour. The piano for the Meg Hutchinson concert is generously donated by Wells Pianos.
Lyric-based, contemporary acoustic songwriter. Influences include poet Mary Oliver, songwriter Shawn Colvin, and mood maker David Gray. Originally from rural western-most Massachusetts, Hutchinson is now based in the Boston area. She has won numerous songwriting awards in the US, Ireland and UK, including recognition from John Lennon Songwriting Competition, Billboard Song Contest and prestigious competitions at Merlefest, NewSong, Kerrville, Falcon Ridge, Telluride and Rocky Mountain Folks Festivals. She released "Come Up Full" on Red House Records in 2008, and is now celebrating the release of her new album "The Living Side" February 9th, 2010.
All tickets are general admission. If the concerts sell out, seat assignments will be given at will-call when you check in. If you have any special seating needs or requests, please call 651-292-3063 and we will do our best to accommodate them.
