One-on-One Conversation with Donald Byrd and David Neumann
SDCF invites you to join us on Monday, February 29th for an in-depth discussion on the artistry and craft of choreography with choreographers Donald Byrd and David Neumann, moderated by contemporary dance historian Maura Keefe. Donald Byrd, a TONY-nominated (The Color Purple) and Bessie Award-winning (The Minstrel Show) choreographer, is currently Artistic Director of Spectrum Dance Theater, and brings to his work a wide range of choreographic and theatrical interests. Bessie Award-winning choreographer and performer David Neumann is the Artistic Director of Advanced Beginner Group, and has worked in theater, opera and film as a choreographer and performer. Join us as these master artists discuss working across genres, artistic inspiration, and collaboration.
