Underground Comedy Night

On Saturday, February 27 at 8 pm, we are pleased to be hostinganother installment of our popular Underground Comedy Night series, this time featuring our most accomplished group of performers yet!

The lineup will feature Jesus Trejo, Forrest Shaw, Kiran Deol, Camilla Cleese and Marty Ross and returning host David Sharp, all professional stand-ups in the southern California region that are currently breaking into the main stream.

These comics have seen their work appear on networks like HBO, Showtime, Fox and Comedy Central, and on programs that are known and respected in the comedy community like Last Comic Standing and Conan.

Cleese, the daughter of legendary Monty Python member John Cleese and a Carpinteria native, is happy to be returning to her hometown: Im super excited to be back performing in my hood and having my people laugh with me or at me! said the veteran stand-up.

Tickets are $20.00 general admission and available online,, at Seastrand (919 Linden Ave., cash or check only) and at the theater box office prior to the show. The show starts at 8 pm and doors open at 7:30 pm.

All ages are welcome but the show will feature mature language and themes, so parents and guardians are not encouraged to bring children and to use their own discretion with teens.
