Poetry & Coffee: sunday, february 21st, 2016 | Love and Other Euphemisms
**LOVE AND OTHER EUPHEMISMS** Bring a poem of passion, of desire, of unrequited love - or lust! A poem that's a little sexy, a little daring, or maybe one that "sings the body electric." A poem about the birds, the bees, the flowers, and the trees. Feel free to interpret the theme broadly. There is no wrong choice of poem. Any and all strange and wonderful Valentines are welcome. (And don't forget about limericks!)
Poetry & Coffee is a simple concept. It's a group of people who get together over food and drinks, each bringing a poem of their choice to read and discuss. **The only rule is that the poem cannot be your own work.** Please bring copies of the poem to share with the group.
We read, we talk. Simple as that. And that is where the simplicity ends, as each Poetry & Coffee gathering takes on a life of its own and consistently becomes magical beyond all expectation.
Tickets are free but you must have one to attend. Event is from 5pm-8pm.
Two types of tickets:
Read Poem / Discussion You bring a poem to read to the group and bring photocopies to share. You also participate in the discussion.
Discussion Only You participate in the discussion of the poems. You can also just listen, if you wish.
If you reserve a ticket and cancel without giving at least 48-hour's notice, you will not be able to reserve tickets to future events. Our apologies for the severity. We are trying to prevent no-shows from taking the seats from people who genuinely want to attend.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Please purchase at least one item to kindly support our venue but, if you can't, come anyway. YOU are more important than your money.
