SECOND HALLOWEEN

Every year the same meme goes around - "Let's get rid of Valentine's Day and replace it with Second Halloween!" Well now it's finally happening...

Together we shall use our collective sparkly awesomeness to dance Valentine's Day into the ground once and for all, until February 14th is forevermore known as... SECOND HALLOWEEN!

SECOND HALLOWEEN will be a daytime-into-night, indoor/outdoor, costumed (duh) extravaganza on Sunday, 2/14 with a whole mess of your favorite DJs, and it will be spectacular.

BRIX 581, located at 581 5th St. @ Jefferson St. in West Oakland.

FOODIES
BRIX has a full kitchen which serves a delicious brunch from 11 to 3pm, and is kid-friendly during those hours. After 3pm (when the music starts), it is strictly 21+. If you'd like to make a brunch reservation (recommended, since it is technically also still v-day for some people), just call (415) 724-7274 and mention that you're coming for Second Halloween. :)

After 3pm, the kitchen remains open with a tasty bar menu available throughout the day.

EVENT DETAILS
* Musics kick off at 3pm and will go til at least 10pm, very possibly later if we're still going strong!

* Event is strictly 21+ w/ID. Kids are welcome during BRIX brunch hours, 11am to 3pm.

* Costumes are not mandatory (we're not the gestapo), but come on. You will look like a jerk if you're not dressed up. IT'S HALLOWEEN!

A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to the Transgender Law Center, located right here in Oakland! "Transgender Law Center works to change law, policy, and attitudes so that all people can live safely, authentically, and free from discrimination regardless of their gender identity or expression."
