The Asheville City Schools Foundation (ACSF) will honor volunteer leaders of the Asheville City Schools (ACS) district at the annual Celebration of Champions, to be held at Crowne Plaza Expo Center on April 16th, 2016.

Ticket holders will enjoy live and silent auctions, appetizers by Corner Kitchen Catering, dinner by Crowne Plaza, and inspiring short films and awards honoring community volunteers. Dinner options include broiled filet mignon, blackened salmon, and portabella mushroom napoleon as the vegetarian entree. There will be a cash bar.

Seating will be general admission this year. If you would like to secure 10 seats together please purchase a table. If your table includes any of this year's champions or you have any other special requests, please contact Virginia DeMoss by phone to process payment or make special requests. 828-350-6174

About Celebration of Champions:

Celebration of Champions is ACSFs signature annual event. Celebration has raised money for the Foundations cornerstone programs: professional development opportunities for teachers, IRL (In Real Life) afterschool program, TAPAS (Teaching Artists Presenting in Asheville Schools), and the Equity Fund.

The Champions are chosen from a group of almost twenty community-selected nominees including the Community Agency Champion, ACSF Partner Champions and Community Volunteer Champion. In addition to these awards, Parent Champions from each ACS will be honored as champions for their respective schools.
