Tom & Linda play Hoagy & Cole
Building on the sold-out success of last years spring concert, the Peninsula College Foundation, with sponsorship from Wilder Auto, presents an exceptional evening of jazz standards as Tom & Linda play Hoagy & Cole on Friday, March 25 at 7 pm in Peninsula College's Maier Hall.
Take a walk down memory lane during this evening of lively classic American music featuring the works of two of the most revered award-winning composers and songwriters, Hoagy Carmichael and Cole Porter. Performed by Tom Varner on French horn, Linda Dowdell on piano, with Ted Enderle on bass, familiar tunes will include Carmichael's Up a Lazy River and Stardust, and Porter's Don't Fence Me In, Night & Day, and I Get a Kick Out of You.
SEATING IS LIMITED. Tickets will be available for purchase online until noon on March 25, after which they will be available at the door on a space-available basis.
Proceeds benefit the Peninsula College Foundation.
