Bring what you have on hand or start collecting now! Some ideas: Buttons, coins, rhinestones, patches, spikes, chain, etc. pretty trims, lace, appliqués, fringe, vintage jewelry, brooches, etc. Any bits and baubles you want to put on your belt.
SUPPLIES!!!
OFFICE SUPPLY STORE Clear technical ruler. This is the one that I use: http://tinyurl.com/pl8ntfy Sharpie (dark colored)
FABRIC STORE (or from your own stash): * Thick interfacing (half yard), or half a yard each of felt and buckram (if you like your bases stiffer). This is the interfacing I dig: http://tinyurl.com/mruqtwk
* Thread (I recommend gutter man or a good upholstery thread). * Needles. * Pins. * Scissors that still cut fabric. * Measuring tape. * E6000 glue. (hot glue is often useful to have as well) * Seam ripper or exacto.
FABRIC About a third to a half yard of fabric to cover your belt project. (this will usually easily cover a bra and a belt, if you decide to keep going with a set)
NOTES * As far as scissors, you can usually get cheap packs of them from most craft stores. * Bring something to cut chain with if you're bringing chain, I really like these guys: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/121419988056?lpid=82_
Rx, heart emoticon Dusty
