Different Voices
Join us for music that incorporates the human voice and musical instruments. Steve Reich's Different Trains is a seminal work that combines recordings of those who passed through train stations before, during, and after World War II with live strings. This is combined Phillip Bimstein's Casino, a new work that combines recorded voices with a woodwind quintet. We'll be joined by member of Indy Pulse, a youth organization focussed on the spoken word.
