APPALACHIAN SPRING
In 1944 American Composer, Aaron Copland completed one of his beloved works, The Appalachian Springs. Odysseus Chamber Orchestra will present in a newly imagined choreography. The orchestra will be joined by Amiti Perry and Company. Together with Maestro Jason Lim this collaboration creates a post modern rendition of the classic.
The first half of this concert promises, a pairing of beloved chamber music works with original choreography by Miss Perry. Works by Britten (Night Music), Ravel (2nd Movement from String Quartet), Bach (Cello Suite no. 1), Piazzolla (Oblivion) and Karmanov (Michael Music) will be featured.
