This concert is an invitation to rediscover what mystics, poets and shamans have known for centuries: when you join powerful rhythms with the language of the soul, the mind can't contain the experience and bursts open to an unsayable "Ahhh!" of pure wonder.

KIM ROSEN
Kim Rosen, MFA, is the author of Saved by a Poem: The Transformative Power of Words. She has inspired listeners throughout the world with the power of spoken poetry as a transformative agent for individuals and communities. Combining her devotion to poetry with her background in spirituality and psychotherapy, she has delivered poems in a spectrum of settings from the crypt of Chartres Cathedral to a Maasai Safe House in the Great Rift Valley. She is the founder of the Poetry Depths Mystery School and delivers workshops, retreats and Poetry Concerts worldwide. Co-creator of 4 CDs of poetry, she has been a featured TEDx speaker and her writing has been featured in O Magazine, The Sun Magazine, The New Yorker and she is the poetry editor of Spirituality & Health Magazine.

JAMI SIEBER
Electric cellist and vocalist Jami Sieber reaches inside the soul with compositions that are contemporary, timeless, lush, and powerfully evocative.  An innovative musician, Jami's music moves beyond the surface, inspiring listeners with her musical prowess and humanity. Her life-long commitment to the environment, social justice, and the healing arts is at the heart of her music, reflecting a deep dedication to the arts as a medium of exploration and awareness of the interconnectedness of all beings. Since launching her solo career Sieber has entered into dynamic collaborations with an extraordinary spectrum of dancers, actors, poets, visual artists, improvisers, vocalists, and instrumentalists that span the globe. Her compositions have been used for film, (Dorothea Lange: Grab a Hunk of LIghtning, Queen of the Sun, Big Joy: The Adventures of James Broughton, Jews and Buddism) and the popular video game  Braid.
