The Fambly Ramble w/ Harmonica Pocket and Red Yarn
The Fambly Ramble w/ the Harmonica Pocket & Red Yarn Saturday, March 5th, 4:00-5:30pm (doors at 3:30) Clinton Street Theater (2522 SE Clinton St, Portland, OR 97202)
The Fambly Ramble is a new Portland concert series offering Music & More for Adventurous Families. The inaugural show at Clinton Street Theater features Port Townsend kindie favorites the Harmonica Pocket and Portland's own Red Yarn, along with multimedia surprises!
Equipped with a hula-hoop, a ukulele, vocal harmony and a suitcase of props, The Harmonica Pocket sings about kids, bugs, vegetables, and Dr. Seuss. Featuring imaginative renditions of American folk classics plus an array of silly, sweet originals from their award-winning albums, Harmonica Pocket performances mix music and dance into a giggle-inducing show that gets audiences singing and moving in their seats.
Red Yarn is a dynamic family performer who weaves folksongs and puppetry into engaging shows for all ages. With his energetic performances and critically acclaimed folk-rock recordings, this red-bearded bard shares positive values while reinvigorating American folklore for younger generations. Red will be joined by his wife Ms. Jessie & their band of Critters for their first Fambly Ramble performance.
Concessions, beer & wine available through the theater.
Tickets are $8 per person in advance/$10 at the door. Babies in arms are free.
Mark your calendars for future Fambly Rambles! Saturday, April 23 at Mission Theater - Gustafer Yellowgold & the Red Yarn Band Saturday, May 21 at Mission Theater - Tim Kubart & Mo Phillips
