SQUID LID / OOLUU / GRAVEYARD STRIPPERS / THE APHELION Sat. March 12 at Ritual Nightclub
On Saturday, March 12th Toronto's SQUID LID will once again make you move as they shake Ritual Nightclub with their catchy deep-sea dark-electro pop beats, and stunning visuals. One glance, and they will immediately lead you into their surreal, heavy, and bass-laden neon world. Boundary pushing, and unique, SQUID LID is a commanding force that can't be ignored.
Local voodoo-metal afficianados OOLUU will be supporting them. A brutal and intense entity, the band will be slamming out tribal anthems from their Jan. 23rd release "Ophus". Ooluu wields mysticism, ritualism, and cosmogony through concussive bass, tribal drumming, serrated guitars, and soaring, shrieking vocals.
Also featured will be a sonic and visual attack from GRAVEYARD STRIPPERS hailing from Montreal, and local prog metal beasts THE APHELION ready to shake your loins.
