Electric Breath
Cléo Palacio-Quintin presents a concert of music written for hyper-flute, and instrument that integrates the traditional flute with electronics. This concert includes works for hyper-flute and video including pieces by Monique Jean (Montréal), Karen Sunabacka (Winnipeg), and Cassandra Miller.
In the days leading up to her concert she will be in residence at Open Space and will present a workshop on improvisation (everyone welcome regardless of musical experience) and an artist talk presenting her electronic and video work. For more information see www.openspace.ca
