CALIFORNIA REDWOOD CHORALE shines a light on SCREEN, STAGE & MORE
36-voice CALIFORNIA REDWOOD CHORALE, directed by Robert Hazelrigg, and accompanied by John Hazelrigg, delights audiences with their always changing repertoire. April 22, 23, 24 of 2016 finds CRC joyously performing old and modern classics from screen and stage, including international favorites. Full choir and small ensembles, solos and duets, all of these will bring to life such treats as Adele's "Skyfall" from 007 James Bond, featuring sensational 15-year old Jaya Sliney as vocalist. You will also hear "Somewhere Out There" from An American Tale made famous by Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram, "Jai Ho" from Slumdog Millionaire, the gorgeous "The Way You Look Tonight", the whimsical "The Boy Who Picked up His Feet to Fly", and Freddy Mercury's "You Take My Breath Away" and much more.
Many of you know that the California Redwood Chorale, founded in 2006, is a world wide traveling choir. It is always a treat to hear this group in the Bay Area. CRC looks forward to seeing you at their concerts!
