Art for Impact Presents: Eye to I
Since 2008 Art for Impact has been hosting dynamic, community-oriented shows to raise awareness and funds for humanitarian causes.
Our eighth event brings together over 30 fantastic Vancouver artists who have created work surrounding the theme of "Eye to I" - placing oneself in another's circumstance in order to better understand not just each other, but ourselves.
All proceeds from the event will go to LEAP, an organization dedicated to providing educational programs to Palestinian refugee youth in Lebanon. For more information on this program visit www.leapsummerprogram.org.
Featured artists include Heather Laura Gray, Anne Cooper, Cast, Zoe Nichele, Resounding Scream Theatre, Ashley Whitehead, Bronwyn McIvor, Marcela Caceres, Dissonant Disco, Marc Arboleda, Aaron Malkin/Alastair Knowles, and Mike Johnston.
Free food/goodies will be on hand, and drinks available to purchase from the bar. There will also be a raffle featuring fantastic prizes.
