Flamenco Culinary Workshop
FLAMENCO CULINARY WORKSHOP Flamenco cooking class with the city's top Spanish chef, Marcos Campos of the restaurant Black Bull. Tuesday, March 1, 6-8 pm
$20 general admission; $15 students and members of Instituto Cervantes The cooking classes will be held in Spanish with English translation as needed.
Menu: Ajoblanco Malagueño, Salmorejo Cordobés, Gazpacho Andaluz, Aceitunas Aliñadas al estilo Jienense; Pipirrana Jienense; alioli ajo negro y tartar de tomate.
Bring a friend, a family member or even your date to these fun and tasty cooking classes. You will learn special tips about how these foods are prepared to make cooking at home both easy and enjoyable. Our Spanish meals and recipes will be sure to spice up your weekly routine or your next dinner party. These healthy cooking classes feature the bold flavors of traditional Andalusia cuisine in traditional Spanish dishes. The meal will be accompanied by "Sangria", that will definitely be an absolute runner at your next party at home.
Marcos Campos, a young Valencian chef, studied the culinary arts in his hometown. He gained more experience in modern cuisine at the Valencian restaurant, Diblu, and later worked alongside the Spanish chef master Manuel de la Osa at Las Rejas restaurant. He is the chef of Black Bull restaurant.
Event attendees grant permission to the Instituto Cervantes of Chicago and its designees to utilize their image or likeness in connection with any live or recorded transmission or reproduction of such event.
