San Jose BUS TICKET: Phillips 66 Oil Train Rally & Public Hearing
Pick up locations: -San Jose City Hall (200 E Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95112) ***Meet at Sixth Street side of City Hall by the Tower
Timing: -Departing at 6am San Jose City Hall -Arrive at 9:45 am in SLO (1055 Monterey St, San Luis Obispo) -Return departure from SLO at 5pm -Estimated Time of Return: 9pm San Jose
IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION: PARKING AT SAN JOSE CITY HALL ON MORNING OF 2/4: -Please use parking garage off 4th and San Fernando Street (by Flames Eatery) -Keep your parking ticket with you (do not lose your ticket) -Stacie with Councilmember Ash Kalra's Office will have a validation machine with her, and this will cover free parking ALL day -Pickup is on 6th street by City Hall Tower (across from Lee's Sandwiches) -Pickup is 6:00 AM sharp, so please be ready at 5:45 AM
SCHEDULE OF THE DAY: - Roll call and meeting begins at 9:00 am - Morning recess is from 10:30 am - 10:45 am - After that is elected officials public comment - Lunch is 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm - Then after lunch is public comment period - Afternoon recess is 3:30 pm - 3:45 pm - Then we are back to more public comment period - Meeting adjourns at 5:00 pm (with rest of public comment to continue on Friday 2/5)
- Please note our bus leaves at 5:00 pm, so it would be great if we can get outside ready to leave at 4:45 pm Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to bus departures as they they are on a tight schedule and want everyone boarded by the departure times.

Bathrooms:Bus will have a bathroom on board. On Thursday and Friday February 4 and 5, the San Luis Obispo Planning Commission will be hearing public comments on the Phillips 66 proposed expansion of a rail spur that will allow the Santa Maria Refinery Facility to process shipments of crude oil by rail. If this project is allowed to move forward by the SLO County Planning Commission, it will put the health, water, air and safety of millions of Californians at risk.
The Stop Oil Trains in SLO Campaign is comprised of neighbors, teachers, nurses, students, and allies who are working together to protect California from the threat of Phillips 66 oil trains. Key partners in Los Angeles include SoCal 350 Climate Action, Food & Water Watch, Tar Sands Action SoCal and Sierra Club
