REGISTRATION for BETA Bracket Improv Duos 2016

This tournament is a Head to Head improv competition where the audience votes who moves on in the tournament.

Produced by BETA Theater and sponsored by Dinolion & The Houston Improv Fest (contact BETA for more sponsorship opportunities).

Duos will compete head to head for an audience vote. During the first 2 rounds, 4 duos will perform on a given night. 1 vs 2. 3 vs 4. The attending audience votes for their favorites, and the winners move on. Round 3 will be 2 groups performing head to head, and on Round 4 at HIF 2016, the final 3 groups will compete head to head to head for the final three cash prizes. The competition gets more difficult as it goes. Round 1 and 2 are 12 minute max sets and Round 3 and 4 are 22 minute sets.

Individuals can only participate in one team.

Registration is open until the bracket is full. The bracket will consist of 24 teams of duos.

$30 Registration until January 15, and then LATE REGISTRATION BEGINS $50.

Shows will be every Thursday at 8:00pm at BETA Theater (2420 Pierce St)
All shows are Pay What You Can except for the final show at Houston Improv Festival which will be a ticketed event. (MATCH)

Participants can only compete in one duo.

Grand Prize is $1500
2nd Place will win $400
3rd place will win $100

Round 4 (The Finals!) will be the opening show at Houston Improv Festival 2016.
